At Hobart International Bookport, we specialize in modern literature from all around the world.

African literature is well represented in our bookstore with works by such well-known writers as Chinua Achebe, Wole Soyinka, Ahmadou Kourouma and Zakes Mda. Books by Ahmadou Kourouma, Alain Mabanckou, Leonora Miano, Tierno Monenembo, and Calixthe Belaya are also available in French. 

Asia, the Middle East and North Africa, Central and Latin America and the Caribbean also feature prominently, as does Europe with a growing selection of Eastern European writers.  Some of these books come in the original language, others in the English translation.
